This is what my week has been like. Running around Uni, being late for lectures, staying up late to finish work that I had forgotten I had to do, not having constant Internet access, rushing to work, not eating properly and last but not least, not drinking enough coffee.

It has been 2 weeks now without alcohol in my body. No I am not trying to pull a zender bender but I haven’t had the chance to go out in such a long time.

All this after staying up all night on Sunday night, to resolve an issue with the layout of this blog. Somehow the whole sidebar moved to the bottom of the page…on its own. At first I thought the URL was possessed but it was only an Internet Explorer bug. I am using Firefox and it looked fine. That was a nightmare and a half but eventually I solved it.

I remember the good ol’ days of last summer. I remember how I used to think of what’s to come as soon as autumn kicked in. I was excited and said things like “how ready I am“. This week I made an observation, I’M SUCH A MUPPET!

In fact, not only am I not ready for what is going on, but I want to go back, about 6 months back. No brother living within walking distance, no job. Just Uni, lots of friends, lots of going out, lots of enjoying myself. Everything was fine but noooooooo, I wanted more.

I am so greedy. I should be locked up. I need to go out shopping and get one of those nice shirts with the sleeves that tie behind your back. Come to think of it I do need to go on a shopping spree. I haven’t done it in a long time. This might actually be the solution to all my problems! Shopping therapy always cheers me up!

This post has opened my eyes. I’ll go to bed so that I can wake up early and have a random shopping day fiesta tomorrow! Nuh-night Internet!
