Giving Strangers The Shirt Off My Back

A strange thing happened to me yesterday. After finishing work I went straight to uni without getting changed. After my tutorial I had an hour before the lecture so I decided to burn time in the library reading a text book. With a few minutes until my lecture began I walked out of the library towards the lecture hall when I was stopped by another student.

“This may be a strange question, but is that a long sleeve white shirt you’re asking?”

“Umm, yes.” I replied, unsure what was so unusual about that.

“Ahh, I have to go to work now,” he continued, “and I’ve left my workshirt at home. I know this is odd, but can I borrow your shirt?”

Looking back on it I’m somewhat amazed, I didn’t even blink an eyelid before agreeing. So we both stripped naked to the waist and exchanged shirts and phone numbers. He even tried to pay me for borring my shirt, but I naturally refused his cash.

So what’s the strangest thing a stranger has ever convinced you to do?

Anyway, on an unrelated note I just stumbled upon “Ask A Gay Man.” William Sledd offers a variety of fashion advice tips on several youtube clips. I hear he is now getting his own TV show as a result of this, all the more reason to post videos on youtube (or better yet, xtube).
