i’m scratching but it still itches!
As if fast forwarding 1 whole hour last week wasn’t enough to confuse me for at least 3 days (yes I’m slow) I had to deal with my allergies that have just kicked in! Oh yeah!!! I’m sneezing at 9 a/m (atchoo’s per minute) and have to cure an incredible itch which is all over my body including a very annoying spot; the centre of my head.
Have you ever had that? If you have, I offer my condolences. If you haven’t, I envy you. There’s no way to scratch anywhere near that spot so all you can do is make sounds which vibrate the next closest organ and give you a few moments of relief. Be careful though, because doing that in public will result in receiving some weird looks from random people…
My eyes have also swollen up to the size of juicy fat plums and while they still itch I am trying very hard not to touch them because the more I touch them the more they turn red and I fear that they will in fact gradually transform into real plums…
So I resorted to scratching all over, not touching my eyes, and sneezing non-stop. I look like I’m borderline autistic but hey, if it makes me feel more comfortable, I don’t give a shit!
This whole situation has made me incredibly sad. So I had to find something to cheer me up. The first thing that came to mind was… shopping!
Feet-numbing, wallet-emptying, brain-washing, eye-watering, adrenaline-pumping, colour-matching and all that jazz. I went to about 30 different shops in 2 days which was exhausting and fruitless! I didn’t like much of what I saw however I was determined to buy stuff. A LOT OF STUFF. And so I did.
Getting out of the house into the open air only made my allergy symptoms worse so the sales-assistants avoided me like I had the plague or something. It made the whole experience of shopping a whole lot more enjoyable for me because I don’t like having sales assistants near me, annoying me with suggestions or saying how nice those jeans make my ass look. I have opinions of my own (thankyouverymuch) and if I do need something from them I’d rather go and ask them. I realise they do it to help me (or if they work on commission, to help themselves) but I’d rather be left alone.
Anyway back to the point; I have successfully spent all the money I had managed to save since the beginning of the year and I’m back in square one; I have no money to buy a digital camera and have to start saving all over again.
And on top of that, tomorrow is Monday! AGAIN! Oy…

Patty said:That sounds so terrible…I use to have allergy problems like that but as I got older they seem to have dissappear…So there is still hope for you..
My oldest son, when he was younger had bad allergies…I had to give him a shot every day for several years…Now that wasnt fun for him or me… But he seems to be doing well now too.. So I hope this comment is finding you having a better day..
