Oh yes! This blog of mine is one! My baby has grown so much in one year and I have grown with it. It’s been a very busy year for me. Probably the busiest of my life so far. I got involved in so many things but managed to make it through even though I had to post here less frequently than I intended and about completely different topics than what I had in mind when it all started. The truth must be told, I was always whining about something but this was my outlet so excuse me.

There were times when this blog had 200-300 visitors a week and times when I was the only one visiting and writing about myself for me. I enjoyed every minute of it. It has been a fucking blast!

• I discussed my eating habits
• my drinking habits (too many posts to choose from)
• my coffee addiction
• I quit smoking twice
• I broke up (I never wrote about this actually because it wasn’t worth it)
• had a one night stand
• had a midlife crisis way too soon
• ranted
• made no sense whatsoever
• came out to my best friend that I’ve known for 15 years
• learnt how to use Macromedia Fireworks and how to make something pretty with it
• hated my housemate, over and over and over and over again with all my heart
• was lovingly smacked by the bitches at iTalk2Much.com
• became friends with the sweetest granny on the internet
• wrote numerous notes to self”
• became my mother
• wrote the worst poem ever

But now it’s time to celebrate this blog’s birthday and what is the weirdest thing one could do in celebration of such an event? Create a new blog of course! That’s right, my new blog is here. It shall be my dream blog and I have named it “insomnia in the making“. I’ve got a few things planned for this new blog but for now it will be just what it says on the tin: a dream blog. I would like to thank all the people that have kept me company on this blog over the last year. Thanks for your support, for making me laugh, cry, feel and allowing me to share with you stories and experiences I never had before. This next year will be full of new experiences and stories and I hope you will be there with me. Chapter 2 of my life is starting as I’m leaving full time studying and starting a full time a job. Just imagine all the new things I will manage to whine about now! Hee hee!
