The GM totally blindsided me. I still have no idea how her and her quiet little calm voice has managed to do it. She took all the wind out of my sails and has bypassed the owner on all relevant things now. Not only did she managed to spend an hour telling me how I was doing my job wrong, but she also managed to imply that I had leaked confidential financial information to my friends at the restaurant I used to work at, some of whom I have approached to come work with me, others who are already working there. I am stunned and dismayed to the point where I feel physically sick.
