mondayz tunez

It’s about time I started this. The plan is to post a new song every week. There is no particular theme for the songs I will be posting. They’re simply songs I really like or represent a story or maybe that I have associated with a certain memory.

To kick this off I am posting a very melodic house track. I must admit that I am not a huge fan of house in the sense that I never got really into it but I do like certain songs. I give you:

Robert Miles’, Children.

I hope you like it. Have a great week!

  1. OMG - what happened

he doesn’t speak to us for weeks and weeks, and then like the bloody No1 Bus, there’s posting after posting and a new masthead - personally though i think the previous one was definitely the best :p

the new one is very Bondi Beach or whatever beach they have in Brisbane - i guess its Adrians turn for fame and fortune or at least a TiTM Masthead

well, welcome back mister - i’m now of to read the excuses what you’ve been upto

PS i don’t live anywhere near the No1 bus route, but they always seem to come in bunches

  2. That’s me dear. Always, when you least expect it! I’m like the US troops in Iraq. I just won’t go away! :-P

Thanks, it’s nice to be back.

As for the No1 bus route I will agree, they always come in bunches. Like the (White-)Hawker’s.

There’s some Brightonian humour for you right there. Adrian, in case you’re wondering, I am talking about chavs and the chav-hole that the No1 bus serves, Whitehawk.

  3. The beaches at Brisbane are mudflats with mangrove trees and mosquitos. Tell me, what do you know about Ross River Fever? lol

As for this particular song, it is by far the best of Robert Mile’s work and is one of two songs I really like on his “Dreamland” album.

  4. i know nothing about RRF other than it sounds as if it’s something i don’t want to catch - i shall add htis to my growing list of reasons never to visit Australia :)
it turns out my Brother and his family are planning to move out to Oz, they seem to be going to some place in the middle of nowhere - i won’t be visiting after he gave me the list of things that can kill you, maim or cause you to have a limb removed if they bite you :)
