my ever-changing taste in music
Monday again and that brings us another song! Now this was a song I hated at the time it was released. It used to be on MTV all the time (that was the era when I was watching MTV non-stop) and it was one of the only songs that made me want to change the channel which I didn’t because the video was brilliant. I suppose I was more into Aqua with their amazing song “Barbie Girl” at the time, as well as MMMBop (by the Hanson) and Wannabe (by the Spice Girls)…
It wasn’t until 4 years later that I heard it again in a pub or something and I fell in love with it.
This song selection was inspired by the fact that on Saturday it was 10 years since it was first released. Also throughout the whole last week I wanted to put this on my MP3 player, turn it up super loud and start recreating the video clip in the streets of Brighton.

there seems to be a reconstruction of this video every time i wander into town
