everything went wrong…but it’s back now
I, um, broke it! I broke it, then fixed it, then broke it some more! I broke it so much that my blog is now hosted all over the place. I’ve managed to get it to a state where it can function properly but it’s still not whole. In my efforts to move from one hosting company to another I managed to get involved with 4 different companies. Sorry for the the holding page that was up since Thursday night (until some time in the afternoon yesterday). I did it in a hurry as the site was going bonkers to spare you the ugliness of broken pages. In case you missed it, here it is:
The news are:
- this site is on a better server now which is more reliable than the previous one
- I now have bandwidth and storage limitations (not so good news but unless I get really popular really quickly I don’t think this will be a problem)
- I’m now running WordPress 2.2.1 which is a lot more stable and secure than the version I was using before (you gotta love upgrades). Plus it has some nice new features
- this blog can now be found under www.therapyinthemaking.com also. I’ve gone international baby! (try not to link to that url as it is not the main one)
- insomnia in the making has been integrated with therapy in the making as there was no point in having two separate blogs. Especially since I haven’t used the other one since last summer. I didn’t think it was a bad idea to have that blog until I realised that I am not a morning person. Dream blogs require more activity than I am used to so early in the morning.
- unfortunately I wasn’t able to move the comments from insomnia in the making to therapy in the making. Thankfully there were not that many
- there should be no more disruptions from now on, therapy in the making is back online!

what’s with this bandwidth malarkey - i hope you have a limit financially so that we won’t break your bank as well as your website - otherwise you’ll have to change to “therapy is expensive, but blogging has caused me to be bankrupt, where’s my accountant”
i’m off to enjoy the few moments of sun we seem to be getting nowadays, though i’m avoiding London Rd, there’s been a stabbing apparently - that’s what the helicopter was doing up in the sky on a sunday

I will be adding a chat or forum area once I find the right plugin for it.
