Man have I been crazy this week! I’ve been going out pretty much every night and just dancing until close. I’ve been ignoring the world, people wanting to pick me up, people wanting to put me down and people who want me to get off their lawn! I don’t know what it is, I’m as poor as ever and yet I’ve been looking great and dancing like a banshee! Perhaps I’ve been posessed by some sort of funky ghost? Fred Astair, are you there?

It’s not all been fun and games though. On saturday night I went to go and have fun at Jeff’s going away party. He’s back on tour with his band, this time they’re doing a six month tour of the states. We’d started at 8pm, music rocking, musicians rocking out and beer free-flowing. It was good, everyone was happy. About 2am I decided that for the neighbour’s sake that we would head into the Valley (Brisbane’s nightlife district) and dance there. So we all piled into a taxi, Jeff pulled out his phone and called his fiance. 2am Brisbane time, 10am in LA.

A boy answered the phone.

Kinda put a dampner on the night.

I’ve been in damage control, as much as damaged goods like me can be.
