mondayz tunez #13 :: slow down you’re gonna crash
I had a weird Monday as I spent most of it sleeping after a long Sunday night so I’m a little late in posting the latest in my series of Mondayz Tunez.
This week, we’re going for something not as old as last week’s song. It was first released in 1988 but I am posting the ‘95 mix of the song which contains additional guitars, percussion, organ and backing vocals none of which were performed by the original band. I decided to post this version as you can find the original version in the video below.

This version is from the Dumb & Dumber movie which is one of my favourites (I heart Jim Carrey’s humour) but there have been many covers of this song over the years. Still, nothing beats the original. I hope you enjoy this. Have a great week you internets!

The only thing that annoys me is that she throws away some of the words. Clearly it should be “IF YOU don’t slow down, you’re gonna crash”.

It could also be “Slow down OR you’re gonna crash”. It doesn’t matter the song kicks ass anyway.
