Lewes is burning
Bonfire night, amazing… I did not care for the parade (I find them a bit silly anyway) but the fireworks show was incredible and also a bit confusing. There was the main event and a couple more around throwing fireworks at random. I took an awful lot of photos with my phone (oh, how geeky of me) and I am suspecting none of them will be of good quality (I’m not much of a photographer anymore plus it’s only a phone). I will upload them very soon on flickr just for the hell of it.
I’ve never seen a train being so full outside London. I pushed the button to open the doors (in order to get on it) and I swear that every time people just “popped” out. Sometimes only a hand or a leg or a head. It was sooo funny. I decided to wait for the next train just so I could do it again! I could stay there doing it all night if it wasn’t for my brother that was getting impatient. Eventually we just squeezed into one where I stood by a girl that was knitting the scarf she was wearing! How time efficient, no? - (*hunky voice speaks*) Got no time to shop? Knit it yourself on your way to the party!. I can only guess and go with the stereotype (which I hate doing) that she was a poor student.
I was in a very good mood already since I had just finished lunch/dinner and declared war to my housemate (oh this will be fun). The bonfire celebration was a bonus even though it should be the other way round… What can I say? I’m weird.
Time for me to go to bed, ears still buzzing. Speak soon internets!
