my job placement is coming to an end
Last night was my leaving do at work. I have another week there but because almost everyone will be on holiday next week I decided to have it a week early and have as many colleagues as possible attend. 12 months has gone by incredibly fast and I had an incredible time there. It turns out that when I chose to work for that company (a small company of really friendly, nice and cool people) over the big, international, faceless company, I made the right choice!
Not only did I have a great 12 months there (like I just mentioned) but I also learnt a lot and ended up being loved beyond I could ever imagine. Last night I received a huge card with the best things they could ever write about me, 2 great presents and a bottle of really expensive champagne!
To tell the truth I managed to learn so much that I went past being just the placement student and becoming someone people would come to for help and do things that were too advanced for “just a placement student”.
This whole experience was something money could never buy and I am very thankful.
