Everything was going so well. I was excited that I was going to Oxford to see Ash. But on Friday morning I started feeling extremely ill. I decided to go anyway because we wouldn’t have many opportunities to meet up until the Easter holidays. Despite the fact that both of us were ill we had a good time. We even went out which I thought I wouldn’t have the energy for. We did and we had a few drinks. Me, Ash, Kyla and Jo (two of his housemates). Jo however had a few drinks more than the rest and at some point decided to show her affection towards me by licking my face… I swear I heard bells in my head and I almost attacked her with the wine bottle while singing “What’s she gonna look like with a chimney on her”. Then I realised that she was drunk and that this was actually what she would do if she liked someone (it’s like dogs smelling each other’s bums). However, that didn’t make it OK…

Apart from the licking incident everything went fine. It was very refreshing for me to hear the word housemate and not have an allergic reaction to it. All his housemates are really nice. I wish I could have housemates like that. But then again it wouldn’t be me if everything didn’t go wrong… I returned to Brighton on Sunday. It is good to be around familiar sites again. But I really wish I could have stayed in Oxford a bit longer. If only I didn’t have Uni to attend or work to go to…

Thankfully, today I am feeling extremely better. Paracetamol does work! And all the coughing has given me abs of steel! Gyms, I laugh at you! HA!
