It has been very cold all of the sudden. What a way to ease yourself into September right? Leaves everywhere, dark sky and today rain. Not the proper kind though. Not the pissing down sort of thing. It was as if I was sprayed sideways. You know that lovely feeling when the cold drops go straight into your ear and you start cursing in the middle of the street?

Apart from that the day went well. I had fast food for lunch and a Sprite and a choc chip cookie at the shopping centre which basically means I’m now hyper because of all the sugar in my body (I can assure you that typing is very hard after spinning on your revolving desk chair for 5 minutes).

The weather has made me realise something. The time has come to go back to Uni. I am also starting work on Monday. This year will be hectic. I can not imagine what’s to come. I am feeling however more prepared than ever. My batteries are full and I’m not in the mood for fooling around. I want to deal with my course and job and focus on them. I have made a promise to myself that I will not do things the way I used to. No more staying up all night to do my assignments at the very last minute. No more going out every night and ending up with no money and no strength to study. Wow, am I actually thinking these things? Did I actually mature? Nah, that can’t be. I always say that at the beginning of term. I just hope that this time I will follow my own guidelines and I won’t get distracted by other things.
