song treat
I love this song! It is so smooth and sweet and makes me sad at the same time.
I hope you enjoy it: Snow Patrol feat. Martha Wainwright - Set the fire to the third bar.
Have a wonderful day!

Hugh said:oooh, how did you get this embedded on your website… one of those songs that makes you stop and think about things for a few mins.
i hope your feeling better. i haven’t read your blog for a while, and still have all the previous entries to read yet so not sure whats been going on in your life.
by the way are you from the other side of the atlantic?, its just math isn’t a usual British way of saying it, or did maths not fit on the title page?

Yeah I’m feeling better although the cough is still there. It’s gradually going away though so I’ll be ready to go back to my fabulous singing career any day now. My shower head has missed me and I don’t like letting down my most dedicated fan. :P
Nah, I am not from the “other side” of the Atlantic (see what I did there?). Gosh, I’m so funny today…(sarcasm alert). My tag line is a play around the common phrase “therapy is expensive, popping bubble wrap is cheap, you do the math”. I didn’t want to change it because it would lose the reference factor. Well, at least for me.
Hugh said:common phrase - clearly i’m not nearly as common as i thought :p
and i didn’t see what you did there other than put ” ” in - clearly i’m not having an enlightening day

Colin Brooks said:Well it’s not SO common but I’ve read it around a few times.
hahaha you’re fine. that simply means your brain is not as messed up as I am. I had coffee today after a whole week of withdrawal and I’m bouncing off the walls. I’m thinking a little too fast at the moment. I was referencing Star Wars. Just read it without the “of the Atlantic” part. You’ll get it. Also it’s kind of a politics pun.
Hugh said:oh bugger, i did a post and its gone and got lost after i buggered up the authentication thingy
you haven’t seen my brain
Commented on November 22nd, 2006 at 10:51 pmi have to admit to having never seen Star Wars, so that ref will only confuse me further
i live/run on coffee, i treat my self evry fortnight to a bag of ground coffee from Red Roaster at the bottom of St James St - very nice place with nice staff, especially the australian one…..lol
Colin Brooks said:Oh yeah I think I know which one you mean. I don\’t remember if I\’ve ever been there though. I\’ll have to try it out.
I should really get rid of that authentication. I don\’t think I need it any more. I\’ll turn it off for a while and see if I get too much spam.
