I walk into one of the University’s cafeterias. Everybody is wearing green paper crowns (I’m thinking: Hey, that’s new!). Well not everybody, some are actually wearing plastic moustaches (I’m thinking: Why would a guy want to wear a fake moustache even for a few minutes?). There’s a Christmas Special menu and a Christmas song echoing in the large room (I’m thinking: Shit, which song is this? I know it’s something Christmassy but which one? Brain’s fried again. Arghhh, I need sleep). There’s a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations everywhere (I’m thinking: Alright, fair enough, this I will accept). Some people have even reserved tables (I’m thinking: But this is not a restaurant)!

I look around, some are chatting away, and others are simply eating their food. That’s when I realise I am still standing right by the entrance, where everyone can see me, while my brain’s being bombarded with these visuals. Then I hear this: “Feeeeed theeeee woooorld, do they know it’s Christmas time at aaaaaaall”. I freeze and try to remain calm but the chorus is repeated more than once.

I burst into a loud and uncontrollable laughter and walk back out as quickly as possible.
