the themes for this year’s Blogathon

Well the time is fast approaching and I am preparing like crazy for this year’s Blogathon. As you can see therapy in the making now has a sidebar. It is a temporary sidebar and I may have the time to beautify it a little but for now it can serve as the starting point.

This morning I managed to get hold of Adrian, my beautiful guest-blogger from the land down under (it’s very hard communicating with a guest-blogger living in a totally different time zone than you) and we discussed what we’ll be doing. As you just read, I said “we” because Adrian has agreed to take part and help me make it through the day and night without killing myself. At some point Adrian will be taking over this blog so I can have some to eat or do whatever else I will need to do by then.

As this has been a rushed effort to get up to speed with the Blogathon preparations (damn hosting move) I don’t have time to make things perfect. I just need to get them in place. So in that brief conversation with Adrian we decided on the themes that we will be blogging about.

We are going for an interactive approach to this year’s approach than a narrative one. What we are aiming for, is posting content that will give you an opportunity to be part of this great experience that is Blogathon.

What you probably didn’t see coming and one of the reasons I was really desperate to take part in the Blogathon this year was that it happens to be on the same day that this blog celebrates another birthday! That’s right, therapy in the making will be 2 years old on Saturday! So it will give me and Adrian (mostly me as Adrian hasn’t been a guest-blogger for very long) an opportunity to revisit the highlights of our blogging history. We will not be re-posting the same content because that would be silly but we will be able to take a look back and show all the new visitors a part of this blog’s history, present and thoughts/plans about the future. Do not panic, this will not be ALL we blog about. We will however be posting links to older posts for your enjoyment.

Another category will be to amuse you with some light content. We will be posting some nice videos and audio files that will surely make you smile if not burst out laughing. I will not say much more on here right now but if you really must know leave a comment and I’ll be sure to let you in on the secret.

There is more planned but for now this is all I’m giving away.

I’m off to meet my date! That’s right! My date! Curious? Then check back on Saturday!

And don’t forget to sponsor me, like, NOW!
