they don’t want me wearing trousers anymore
Wow this week has gone by so fast. It’s probably because I had a lot of things to do. Like yesterday I went for the second time in one week to London. It was for a seminar that “work” wanted me to attend. It was interesting but also boring at times. It did last 6 hours so I should have known…
I felt so brain-dead after it that as soon as I got back to Brighton I had to do something to reward myself for going through this and keeping 13 pages of notes… Seriously, I haven’t written that many notes since I first started Uni. Thankfully I realised that I didn’t need to keep so many notes so gradually gave up note-taking altogether…
So I went shopping! It was only 6:30pm so I still had time! I went into a couple of shops but decided to go for the cheap one so I bought 2 t-shirts, 2 shirts and one tie from H&M. It felt good. Bad thing is that they never have jeans in my size. I think I’m either too late and all the sizes are gone (as I’m a fairly average size) or they have stopped selling my size.
However it’s not just H&M. Almost every shop I try doesn’t have my exact size. I’ve been buying baggy (not too baggy) jeans and trousers for this reason as well. I like them so it’s not just because I can’t find the right size that I buy them but I don’t understand why they don’t bring the right sizes. They think that people are either too tiny (short and thin) or too big (tall and fat). What about us tall and thin ones and what about the short and fat ones? What about all the people in between? I’m not whining. I just find it absurd that they don’t cater for everyone’s needs.
