Topical Tuesday #3 :: The Environment

Welcome to a new weekly section that is just starting up. The truth is that there are a lot of people with great minds out there and a lot of them have a blog. Topical Tuesday, essentially, is a topic that you are invited to write your own opinion about. Topic :: The Environment

I started writing about this topic 3 times, only to delete everything and start again because I always ended up ranting. I can’t help it, this very important subject for me. I will try my best to not rant again this time but I don’t know if I can manage that because I get too mad thinking how inconsiderate some people are. I cannot understand how people cannot care about this. From the smallest thing, like throwing your garbage in a bin and not on the street, to arson.

Our environment is fragile whether people want to understand it or not. The climate is changing rapidly and the sea level is rising day by day. There are things we can do though. We can save energy, we can recycle and we can even boycott companies that ignore the fact they are damaging the environment.

One thing that us bloggers can do is participate in this year’s Blog Action Day. It will take place on the 15th of October 2007 and we can all do a little bit to help. We need to take action before it is too late.
