Ugh! I suck! I am a day late posting this. I had a crazy day yesterday and spent most of the day today at the university and looking for a present because it’s boyfriend’s birthday this weekend. I know, I know, excuses… Let’s get on with this shall we?

The greatest superhero for me would not be someone bug-like or one that has an animal as an emblem… I have a natural phobia of bugs and identifying with animals kinda creeps me out. The greatest superhero for me is someone unexpectedly childish. Okay, maybe not so unexpected of me…

Ladies and lads, my favourite hero is Sport Billy.

Now let me explain and possibly defend my choice. Sport Billy is uber kool because he is from another planet, has a talking dog and a manbag which is bright yellow (because he’s cool and doesn’t care if it clashes with everything else he’s wearing) which contains anything you could possibly imagine! Now I can totally identify with that. My own manbag (even though it’s of a different style and definitely different colour) tends to contain half of the things I own and I would so put more stuff in there if I could fit them in there. It takes me hours trying to find what I’m looking for anyway but I like my manbags cluttered like my life is. Sport Billy has the ultimate fashion accessory (all right, maybe not fashion accessory but I’m trying to bring out my inner gay here so just go with it, mkay?) and he has a dog who speaks and is witty! He’s like, the ultimate companion! He also has a best friend who is a girl, now how can I not identify with that?

The only problem is that he’s into sports and his powers are focused around protecting sports from the evil Queen Vanda (I would so worship her just for calling herself that without any shame). I don’t play sports, in fact I don’t understand most of them, I like the hunky men playing them but that’s about it! So we’re talking about an alien from a planet called Olympus (isn’t that were the Greek gods lived? Oh no, wait, that was a different Olympus and a mountain) who defends sports while carrying a manbag (even though most of the times he’d let it shrink and put it in his pocket but it still counts) in which, among other things, he has a pair of shoes that allow him to fly! Which brings me to my next point.

I would love to be able to fly, in fact that is the only reason I like Superman and any other flying superhero characters! No matter how much I’m scared of heights and tights for that matter. I’ve had reoccurring dreams about flying ever since I can remember and even though I never seem to get the landing part down correctly I still love it.

So there you go people! I’d like to see you argue with my logic!
