transmitting from the UK again!
Last summer I made the mistake of transferring to a more expensive server thinking that more expensive meant better. I was very mistaken. The blog has been very slow when it came to updating the front end with new posts and comments. Some of you may have noticed that your comment would take too long to appear and usually thought that it was eaten by the spam filter. Changes I made to the template would not show and general frustration ensued.
It took me this long because I needed to make up the money to buy the new hosting (since the old one could not be refunded as it was past its 30 day trial period).
Now, I’m back at my old hosting company which should solve a lot of issues including that of posts/comments appearing in real time with a UK timestamp and generally things should run a lot smoother from now on. However if you experience any problems and you can’t access pages or files (particularly old images and mp3s) please let me know so I can sort out anything I may have missed during the transfer process.
Enough with the technicalities of this blog. We now get back to normal posting!

Hosting has gotta be one of those things where you don’t get what you pay for.
Good thing you moved to the old server!
