I woke up again this morning to my dog’s snoring only to find out I had slept through most of yesterday. What started as an afternoon nap never ended until this morning. I remember waking up every once in a while and seeing my brother playing on my laptop but that’s about it. It can’t have been a dreamless sleep though. But anyhoo I am planning to do something with my day today (sarcasm). Since I don’t have to go to work either this means that I have more time to lay on the sofa pretending to be interested in something on TV. Because it’s summer and actually mid-August summer and this means that there’s NOTHING on TV but repeats of the winter’s shows.

Now all I need to do is wait for my ma to wake up and have a proper coffee with her while we talk about random things that we dreamt about or make fun of the people on the morning TV shows. I love doing that but my being a late-sleeper, just like my brother, doesn’t give me the opportunity to have these delightful discussions with my ma.

OK, she just woke up! I’m getting my cigarettes and going to the living room to make us coffee.
