“what are you gonna be when you grow up?”

Yeah, I’ve done it again. Missed another day of posting a daily fact. So here goes:

When I was younger I wanted to become an English teacher. At least that’s what I said when asked. To be frank, I didn’t really know then. I believe, I only said I wanted to teach English because it was the only subject I enjoyed at school. I later started saying that I was thinking about studying Business Management or Marketing. However, that was because I still wasn’t sure what I wanted to do and I wanted to please my parents. Especially my dad since he wanted me to take over the family business when old enough. That went on until when I had to fill in my applications for University. That’s when I was finally asked “what do you want to study”.

I was still not sure exactly what I wanted to study but I knew it should have something to do with computers. I am now studying Computer Science and loving it. Well, at least some of it.

My friends always said I should either become a lawyer or an actor because I could lie very convincingly. I don’t have that ability anymore.

What did you want to grow up to be?
