why i haven’t been posting as often as i used to
I have been extremely busy lately, trying to finish a piece of coursework for Uni. It was due in last Thursday but I had to ask for an extension since there was no way I could do it in time. I always do this! I always leave things until the last minute. I’ve said it before, I am sure of it, but I can’t help it! Then I reach this stage where I am freaking out about not having enough time and not sleeping so that I can finish it in time while at the same time I marvel at how nothing seems to work above my neck. I swear if this happens again I will cry like a little girl. So I made another mental note which I then proceeded to write down in big letters and stick on the wall right in front of my desk where I study:
Warning: Dates on calendar are closer than they appear!
I’m sure I read that somewhere but can’t remember where. However it’s so appropriate in my case that I could make it my new slogan…
Today after I finished work I decided to meet up with my brother and a couple of friends who were going to the pub to watch a football game. I didn’t join them because I wanted to watch the game. I joined them for the alcohol but I can safely say that tonight I had the worst pint I have ever tasted! I shouldn’t have gone in the first place but if you had to choose between coursework and a drink what would it be?
Anyhow, it’s time I pimped out a few people:
Pandora because she finally decided to update her blog after almost 2 weeks and because she’s uber-cool!
lysie6211 because she was an amazing host to my blurry thumbnail and she is funny and cool.
Madbull because I still owe him something which I have not forgotten about and I think I finally know what it is! (yes it is an inside joke and no I won’t tell)
My very good friend Cate to whom I still owe a birthday present…
And last but not least, the Geeky Dragon Girl because her blog is becoming my comfy place incredibly fast.

GDG rocks ! I am just to shy to admit it *da,mn*
Yes there are some pints that can taste horrible. I remember a while ago when I was really upset about something that happened at work. Some friends ‘dragged’ me into the Candy Bar, a place I still hadn’t visited. Wowww I am open-minded, I wouldn’t live in Brighton otherwise, but that was ‘quite some experience’. I seemed really to be the only (unknown) bloke in there and could feel the hostility. Because I felt really bad and actually wasn’t into acohol at all, I ended up starting to drink tequila shots. Soon the whole crew and I were totally drunk. Imagine it became one of my favourite places in Brighton.
And if any colleague of mine reads this, trust me revenge WILL BE sweet !

And yes it is a ’strange’ place and the atmosphere can be quite aggressive. Especially if they don’t knnow you. Making ‘contact’ their with the people is very hard as a bloke.
